JOINING HANDS WITH THE “GREEN UNIFORM” TEACHERS TO SOW THE SEEDS OF KNOWLEDGE AND SPREAD LOVE

Following the spirit of gratitude towards the soldiers who have fought and continue to dedicate their efforts to the country, Tiger Funding Vietnam Student Edition visited the Compassion Class in Ben Luc District.

In Ben Luc Town, Long An Province, there is a special class organized by the Border Guard Station at Ben Luc Port in collaboration with the local authorities. This class offers educational opportunities to disadvantaged children, mainly children of migrant workers.

Currently, the border guard officers directly teach from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, for nearly 60 students from Grade 1 to Grade 5. Beyond their national duties, these “green uniform” teachers devote their time to patiently teaching every letter to the children.

The class not only provides basic academic knowledge but also focuses on moral education and life skills, helping the children gain more confidence in life. After more than 10 years, from a small rented room, the class is now operating stably with two classrooms and necessary facilities provided by Thuan Dao Primary School.

Tiger Funding Vietnam Student Edition visited the Compassion Class to deliver meaningful gifts, including a very special surprise aimed at improving both the mental and physical well-being of the students. According to the teachers, this will be the first time the children receive such a heartfelt present.
